Tom is based in Limerick, Ireland and completed a BA in Photographic Media at Griffith College, Dublin. He currently works as a freelance sports photographer and previously as a picture desk editor for Ireland's largest sports photo agency Sportsfile. He has also worked on the picture desk for Shutterstock who have over 40 million news, sports, entertainment and archival photos. A World Sports Photography Awards Finalist in 2024, his work has been published by the Examiner, Irish Times, Irish Independent, Los Angeles Times, The Athletic, Fox News and NBC Sports amongst others.
